Our Team

Bruce Gunn - Managing Director and Founder of DNDP

BruceBruce has a wealth of previous experience in the technology industry and wants to use the experience he has gained as a catalyst for people with disabilities that are housebound. ‘In this digital world we live in, we all use computers for communicating and researching; I want to help people view this as skills that they can develop a career from! I know myself what it is like to be made to feel unemployable due to a disability; I’d like to help more disabled people into employment and give them that feeling of self-worth, self-esteem and confidence that having a job brings!’

Michael - Operations Manager

MichaelMichael has a over 30 years experience in IT, communications and business management. While Bruce focusses on our social goals, Michael tends to the business aspect, focussing on growth, service diversity & profitability. “While my focus is more commercial, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the fruits of your labour, culminate in another employment opportunity for someone with a disability. The sense of satisfaction is incredible.”

Lawrence - Digital Projects Manager

Lawrence Lawrence has over 35 years experience in database design. Channelling his internal superhero in his new role as a web developer: "I am looking forward to working in a people centered organisation that delivers passion with a purpose rather the passion for profit"

Pav - Digital Marketing Manager

PavPav has over 12 years management experience working within a variety of retail settings. ‘My previous roles allowed me to gain invaluable skills leading and developing teams, managing operations and sales. Now, I am part of a social enterprise that really is breaking down the many barriers that prevent people with disabilities from working. Being part of the DNDP team has allowed me to finally have the right work-life balance; I’m now doing a job that I love by helping others and I’m very excited about this next chapter for DNDP.’

Allana - Content Writer

AllanaAllana is an experienced journalist and language translator who thrives on new challenges. None more so than the position of content writer that she has recently taken up with DNDP. “My graduation in 2009 was one of the proudest moments of my life. I felt as if I were standing on the shoulders of giants that day. It is only now however, that I am being given a real opportunity to put the skills I developed to good use. In my role at DNDP I aim to inform, educate and entertain, and in doing so hopefully help other disabled people find a quicker route into employment. After all, there’s plenty of room for us all up there on those giant’s shoulders!”

Rachel - Digital Artist

Rachel‘I have always enjoyed drawing and making cartoons since I was a child, and I attended a course in HND Illustration and also gained a BA Hons in Digital Art. I hone my skills by watching online tutorials and reading specialist books and magazines such as ImagineFX, plus I also enjoy reading comics such as 2000AD to give me ideas for my own stories and characters. I am able to imitate a wide range of styles, such as cartoon, manga, etc. There is nothing more rewarding than finishing a complex piece of work and hearing other people’s thoughts and feelings about it.’
